Primary Purpose:

Drive brand growth, engagement, and conversions by creating platform-native, trend-focused video content, managing ad campaigns, analyzing performance, and fostering community across both TikTok and Snapchat, leveraging unique features like AR Lenses and short-form video to reach Gen Z/Millennial audiences.


Key Accountabilities:

Core:

  • Develop engaging short-form videos, stories, and interactive elements (like AR filters on Snap) that fit each platform's style and trends.
  • Build and interact with communities, responding to trends, memes, and direct messages in real-time.
  • Design ad campaigns (using TikTok Ads, Snap Ads Manager), target specific demographics (Gen Z, Millennials), and optimize for metrics like ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).
  • Monitor analytics to understand content performance and refine future strategies for better reach and engagement.
  • Tailor successful TikTok content for Snapchat and vice versa, understanding platform nuances.
  • Partner with marketing, creative, and product teams to support product launches and cultural moments.
  • Managing paid campaigns (such as TikTok Shop Ads or Snapchat Spotlight) to improve ROI, tracking performance through platform-specific analytics to refine content strategy.
  • Developing "social-first" videos, stories, and AR lenses that feel authentic to each platform's unique humor and storytelling style.
  • Scaling a brand’s presence by engaging directly with fans and responding in real-time to viral trends, memes, and cultural moments.


Qualifications :

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent experience is common.


Experience :

Often 3+ years in social media/digital marketing, with specific Snap/TikTok experience.


Skills :

  • Collaborating with marketing/growth teams.
  • Deep understanding of each app's nuances (ephemeral Stories/Lenses on Snap, viral algorithm on TikTok).
  • Filming, editing (native tools), creating AR Filters, adapting content for each platform's tone.
  • Identifying and leveraging real-time memes, sounds, and cultural moments.
  • Engaging directly with users, responding in real-time, fostering discussions.
  • Tracking performance (views, engagement) and applying insights to improve content.
