SOC Trainee

Job Title: SOC Trainee

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated SOC Trainees to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. This role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to gain hands-on experience in a real-world SOC environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using various security monitoring and protection tools

· Assist in identifying, analyzing, and escalating potential security incidents

· Support incident response and threat investigation activities

· Perform basic log analysis and initial threat-hunting tasks

· Document findings, incidents, and procedures clearly and accurately

· Continuously learn and research new cybersecurity tools, techniques, and threats

· Work closely with senior SOC analysts during shift operations

Requirements

· Recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field

· Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.)

· Ability to research, learn, and adapt to new tools and technologies independently

· Basic knowledge of security solutions such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, Antivirus, Firewall, or Email Security is a plus

· Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework is an advantage

· Good communication and documentation skills

Nature of Work: Shift-based role (rotational shifts as per SOC standards)Location (Preferred): B-17, Taxila, or Wah Cantt

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Rs20,000.00 - Rs30,000.00 per month
