Job Title: Social Media Account Manager (Full-Time – Secondment Role)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Reporting To: Account Director / Client Marketing Lead
Secondment: Assigned full-time to a client site

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, highly creative, and execution-driven Social Media Account Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will be seconded to a key client and will be responsible for managing, creating, and executing the full scope of social media activities.

While the role carries an Account Manager title, it requires a professional who is equally comfortable with strategy, content creation, copywriting, and daily platform management. The ideal candidate is someone who can own the social media function end-to-end, from idea to execution and performance tracking.

Preference will be given to Arabic-speaking candidates to support bilingual content creation.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Social Media Management

  • Fully manage the client’s social media platforms on a daily basis
  • Handle posting, scheduling, and publishing across all channels
  • Monitor messages, comments, and engagement (community management)

Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Create social media content from concept to execution, including:
  • Writing captions (Arabic & English preferred)
  • Developing post ideas and content themes
  • Suggesting visual directions and briefing designers (or creating simple visuals when required)
  • Ensure all content is:
  • Engaging and platform-appropriate
  • Aligned with brand tone of voice
  • Culturally relevant to the UAE audience

Planning & Strategy (Light to Mid-Level)

  • Develop monthly content calendars
  • Align posts with key campaigns, events, and marketing objectives
  • Proactively suggest new ideas, trends, and improvements

Client Coordination (On-Site)

  • Act as the on-ground representative for all social media matters
  • Coordinate approvals and ensure smooth communication
  • Maintain a professional and proactive relationship with client stakeholders

Performance Tracking

  • Monitor basic performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth)
  • Prepare monthly reports with simple insights and recommendations
  • Continuously optimize content based on performance

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in social media management (hands-on role)
  • Proven ability to:
  • Write strong, engaging captions
  • Create and manage content independently
  • Handle full social media pages without heavy reliance on a team
  • Proficiency in:
  • Social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc.)
  • Basic design tools (Canva or Adobe basics is a strong advantage)
  • Scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite or similar)
  • Arabic language proficiency (strongly preferred)
  • Strong writing skills in English
