Key Accountabilities:

Role Purpose: The Social Media Account Handler will be responsible for managing Tasweer Photo Festival’s social media channels, creating content that resonates with our diverse audience, and driving engagement across platforms. Your work will help build brand awareness, foster community interaction, and promote festival events and initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Management:

  • Develop and schedule compelling and relevant content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Create content in both Arabic and English to cater to our diverse audience.
  • Design and curate graphics, videos, and multimedia content that align with the festival’s branding and messaging.

Community Engagement:

  • Monitor social media channels for interactions, comments, and messages, responding in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster positive relationships with followers, influencers, and community members.
  • Manage online conversations and address any issues or inquiries related to the festival.

Campaign and Strategy Support:

  • Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns and promotional strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with overall marketing goals.
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content.

Market Trends and Insights:

  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and audience preferences to inform content strategy and improve engagement.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing social media strategies based on insights and performance data.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Prepare regular reports on social media performance, including engagement metrics, growth statistics, and campaign results.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications/Requirements:


  • Fluency in Arabic and English: Proficiency in both languages is essential for creating and managing content and engaging with a bilingual audience.
  • Social Media Expertise: Proven experience managing social media accounts for organizations, including content creation, scheduling, and community management.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Ability to generate engaging and visually appealing content tailored to various social media platforms.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English, with an ability to craft messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Analytical Skills: Experience with social media analytics tools and an understanding of how to leverage data to drive social media strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in creating bilingual content for social media platforms.

  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus

  • 9 years of experience in social media management or a similar role.
