Position Overview

The Social Media & Marketing Intern will play a key role in telling HFY’s story through digital platforms. This role involves creating engaging content, managing social media accounts, and supporting campaigns that highlight youth success and community impact.

Responsibilities

  • Create and post engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Capture photos and videos at HFY events
  • Stay current with social media trends and apply best practices
  • Collaborate with leadership to design campaigns and digital storytelling projects
  • Manage the monthly social media calendar and analytics reports

Ideal Candidate

  • Creative, innovative, and detail-oriented
  • Skilled in Canva, CapCut, or similar creative tools
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and platforms
  • Excellent written communication and storytelling ability
  • Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or digital media

Position Overview

The Community Engagement & Operations Intern will assist with partnership development, outreach, and event planning. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about community building, teamwork, and making a tangible difference through local collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Research and connect with potential partners (churches, schools, small businesses)
  • Assist in planning and executing community and youth programs
  • Help manage event logistics including setup, sign-in, and breakdown
  • Track and evaluate partnership engagement and success
  • Support the Operations Director with special projects

Ideal Candidate

  • Outgoing, dependable, and collaborative
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable representing HFY in community settings
  • Organized and proactive in problem-solving
  • Pursuing a degree in community development, business, or public relations
