Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

Location: NM Studio – Upper East Side & Upper West Side

Position Type: Part-Time

About Us NM Studio is a contemporary Pilates studio offering reformer-based classes for clients of all levels, including beginner, intermediate, advanced, and pre & postnatal. Our mission is to create a welcoming space where movement, wellness, and community come together.

We are looking for a motivated and creative Social Media & Marketing Coordinator who is currently pursuing, or has recently completed, studies in marketing, communications, or content creation. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience and the opportunity to grow with a small, dynamic wellness business.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging content for Instagram and other social platforms
  • Capture in-studio photos and short-form video content (classes, instructors, studio environment)
  • Create Reels, Stories, and posts highlighting classes, instructors, studio culture, and events
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all social platforms
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments or messages when appropriate

Content Planning

  • Develop and maintain a biweekly or monthly content calendar outlining upcoming posts, campaigns, and promotions
  • Share the content schedule with management for review and planning
  • Ensure marketing efforts align with studio promotions, events, and partnerships

Digital Advertising

  • Manage and monitor Google Ads and Meta Ads (Instagram/Facebook) campaigns
  • Track performance metrics and recommend improvements to increase reach, leads, and conversions
  • Prior experience managing ads for businesses, brands, or organizations (small or large) is preferred

Marketing & Promotions

  • Assist in promoting studio events, workshops, and special offers
  • Create high-quality visual content using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite to support marketing initiatives and branding efforts.

Community & Partnerships

  • Help identify potential collaborations with local businesses, wellness brands, and community organizations
  • Assist with outreach for partnerships, events, or studio activations
  • Support planning of in-studio or community events

Qualifications

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in marketing, communications, media, or content creation
  • Experience managing Instagram accounts and creating short-form content
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to plan content in advance
  • Interest in wellness, fitness, and lifestyle brands
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

Compensation

  • Part-time position
  • Hourly Rate: $20–$30 per hour, depending on experience
  • Flexible schedule

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
