This position requires a commute to the headquarters office in Atlanta during hybrid workdays, 2- 3 days / week. Parking or transit is a company paid benefit.

Summary
The part time Social Media & Marketing Coordinator supports digital engagement and marketing efforts across social and email platforms. This role updates content calendars, creates and schedules posts, and provides data for performance analytics to improve reach and engagement. The coordinator develops multimedia content, including basic video, and supports paid social campaigns. Responsibilities also include executing email marketing campaigns, maintaining audience lists, and tracking results. The role collaborates with internal teams to produce branded digital assets and promote organizational programs. Staying current on social media trends and best practices is essential.

  • Develop design templates for digital communications, including but not limited to email, social media, website; Graphic design and brand asset creation
  • Work with Strategic Content and Marketing Project Manager and other staff to create/publish video and audio content.
  • Coordinate social media and digital advertising campaigns that engage target audiences within the association; stay abreast of social media’s changing trends
  • Post multimedia content to the correct channels and help promote visibility of the programs as well as individual content items
  • Create and schedule content using tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, or similar platforms
  • Independantly coordinate a social media content calendar
  • Interpret social media analytics and translate insights into recommendations
  • Basic video editing (Reels, short-form content)

Qualifications

  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite; Graphic design and brand asset creation
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather content and approvals
  • Experience supporting events, conferences, or membership organizations
  • Experience working in a nonprofit or association environment a plus
  • Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design; experience with video editing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social listening tools and social media management platforms such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research techniques, and web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of social media marketing trends including Facebook Advertising strategies.
  • Excellent written communication skills with an eye for proofreading and content creation accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
