We’re seeking a passionate and creative Social Media & Marketing Intern who wants to gain hands-on experience in marketing, brand storytelling, and community engagement while earning college credit. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across various platforms.
- Create engaging content tailored for different audiences, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
- Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Adobe Creative Suite for scheduling posts and managing social media accounts.
- Conduct SEO keyword research to optimize content for search engines and improve visibility.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and customer interactions using social listening techniques.
- Analyze web analytics and Google Analytics data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Manage relationships with influencers and partners to enhance brand visibility.
- Oversee e-commerce initiatives by creating promotional content that drives sales.
- Proofread all marketing materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand standards.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing, social media, and graphic design.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college/university program seeking academic credit in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and web analytics.
- Experience with Meta Advertising and other paid social media campaigns.
- Excellent graphic design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Exceptional proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
