Social Media and Marketing Manager

Are you a social media whiz with a love for Austin’s coolest spots? The Cedar Door and Foxy’s Proper Pub are on the hunt for a creative, energetic Social Media Coordinator to join our family-owned team. This is a part-time position with the possibility of becoming full-time for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do:

• Craft engaging posts, reels, and stories that showcase our brand
• Share highlights from our 50th Anniversary at The Cedar Door and upcoming pub events at Foxy’s Proper Irish Pub
• Collaborate monthly with social media influencers to expand our reach
• Create original graphics using Canva and polished reels with CapCut
• Manage and organize our photo and video library for easy content access
• Schedule posts using Hootsuite and maintain consistent content calendars
• Partner with managers and our graphic designer to develop creative campaigns
• Promote live music, trivia nights, football season, happy hours, and special events across both venues
• Respond to followers, build relationships, and engage with our community

• Legacy Austin history + scratch-made menu
• Signature Mexican Martini and cocktail features
• Outdoor/dog-friendly patio
• Private Events

Foxy’s Proper Pub

• Pub menu made fresh from scratch
• St. Patrick’s Day, NYE, whiskey tastings & trivia nights
• Live music & sporting events
• Cozy, dog-friendly patio vibes

Analytics & Reporting:

• Track engagement metrics and provide insights to refine strategy
• Stay up to date on trends, SEO (paid & organic), and AI-driven tools

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of social media management experience (hospitality a plus)
• Proficient in CapCut, Canva, Hootsuite (or similar platforms)
• Skilled at creating scroll-stopping reels and short-form video content
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage content calendars
• Familiar with Austin’s culture and social media landscape

Schedule, Pay & Perks:
