Are you looking to be able to work with dogs, work with social media and help customers around the country? We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing and Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of social media marketing, content creation, and digital marketing trends to effectively manage our online community. As growing locally owned businesses, we want to expand our social media and marketing on every platform. Our Marketing and Social Media Manager would be responsible for:

  • Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and You Tube.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Schedule within the content calendar
  • Manage relationships with influencers and partners to enhance collaboration opportunities.
  • Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports on social media campaigns' effectiveness.
  • Utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve visibility.
  • Developing New Social Media Marketing campaigns & executing them in a timely manner.
  • Researching social media trends & participating in those that are relevant to the company brand.
  • Responding to all comments & messages in a timely & professional manner.
  • Manage and respond to all reviews
  • Create marketing guides for customers.
  • Constantly brainstorming new & exciting ways to gain followers & customers.
  • Create brochures and materials to educate new & potential customers.
  • Managing & maintaining company websites.
  • Working with and oversee marketing interns.

Skills and Experience:

· Proven experience in social media marketing or a related field is essential.

· Proficient in social media management tools and platforms

· Strong knowledge of social media marketing principles and best practices

· Experience in content creation, including graphic design, photography, and video editing

· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar software for graphic design and video editing

· Experience with Hootsuite, mail chimp and other marketing software programs

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to develop creative and engaging content that aligns with brand voice

· Strong analytical skills to track, measure, and report on social media performance

· Strong research skills to identify trends and insights that will inform strategy development.

· Exceptional proofreading abilities with keen attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
