Yū is a dynamic health and nutrition company that uses influencers as our primary method for sharing our story and selling our products. Our company was founded by an influencer who wanted to create a brand that truly aligns with what influencers are looking for in today’s environment of side hustles and authentic brand partnerships.

The role of the Social Media Manager is to support the mission of driving revenue through innovative approaches to marketing, e-commerce, and digital strategy.

About the Position:

We are looking for an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Social Media Manager to manage and grow our social media presence. This includes Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of creating content that performs, drives engagement, and converts followers into customers.

You will work closely with the company founder to plan, film, and produce high quality video and visual content that tells our brand story. You should love creating short form video content, understand current social trends, and be confident appearing on camera.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow Yū’s social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
  • Develop and execute a creative and data driven social media strategy focused on growth and conversion
  • Create, film, and edit short form video content that reflects the Yū brand and resonates with our target audience
  • Plan and manage a consistent posting calendar aligned with company promotions and launches
  • Engage daily with our community by responding to comments and direct messages
  • Repurpose and optimize content across different platforms for maximum reach and impact
  • Collaborate with the founder and influencer partners to develop innovative content campaigns
  • Identify and coordinate collaborations with influencers, creators, and complementary brands
  • Track social media analytics, measure performance, and adjust strategies based on data insights
  • Stay current with social media trends, updates, and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Three to five or more years of proven experience managing social media for a brand or business
  • Demonstrated success growing social media accounts and improving engagement metrics
  • Strong skills in short form video creation, filming, and editing
  • Confident and comfortable being on camera
  • Excellent understanding of social media algorithms, analytics, and current trends
  • Creative thinker with strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Highly organized, dependable, and detail oriented
  • Experience in wellness, beauty, health, or lifestyle industries is preferred
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and collaboration management is a plus

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience with performance based incentives
Schedule: Full time, forty hours per week
