Job Overview

We are seeking a creative, driven, and strategic Social Media & Marketing Manager to grow our liquor store’s digital presence and strengthen our connection with customers both online and in-store. In this exciting role, you will create engaging photo and video content, manage our social media platforms, and develop marketing campaigns that highlight our unique product offerings, community events, and brand personality.

Your creativity behind the camera and on-screen storytelling will help showcase our wide selection of wines, spirits, and craft beverages — while your marketing expertise will drive customer engagement and sales. This paid, full-time position offers room to grow with the company as we expand our brand presence and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media and marketing strategy aligned with our business goals and seasonal promotions.
  • Create engaging, original content — including high-quality photos, videos, reels, and written posts — that highlight products, tastings, new arrivals, staff favorites, and community partnerships.
  • Manage daily social media operations across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X (Twitter), using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer to schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages.
  • Capture and edit visual content (product photography, event coverage, behind-the-scenes videos) that reflects our brand’s tone and quality standards.
  • Plan and execute digital ad campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Promotions, Google Ads) to boost awareness and drive traffic to both the store and online platforms.
  • Collaborate with management and sales teams to promote special events, tasting sessions, and seasonal promotions.
  • Conduct social listening and market research to identify trends, track competitors, and discover opportunities for community engagement.
  • Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics, platform insights, and reporting tools to measure ROI and continuously optimize campaigns.
  • Build relationships with local influencers, vendors, and partners to increase visibility and foster a loyal customer community.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels through careful proofreading, attention to detail, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Stay current with trends in digital marketing, video content creation, and the beverage and hospitality industries to keep our social presence fresh and relevant.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media management, marketing, or digital content creation, preferably in retail, hospitality, or the beverage industry.
  • Proficiency in photography and videography, with the ability to shoot, edit, and produce high-quality multimedia content for social media and advertising.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or similar tools for design and video editing.
  • Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Insights).
  • Understanding of SEO, hashtags, and keyword optimization to improve visibility and engagement.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and proofreading abilities with a sharp eye for brand tone and storytelling.
  • Experience with paid advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, including audience targeting and performance tracking.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for creative marketing and the liquor/beverage industry.
  • Willingness to grow within the company as we expand our digital footprint and introduce new marketing opportunities.

Why Join Us

  • Opportunity to shape the digital voice of a growing liquor brand.
  • Work in a fun, dynamic environment where creativity and innovation are encouraged.
  • Room to grow into expanded marketing, branding, or leadership roles as the business evolves.
  • Competitive pay and potential performance-based incentives.
