We are seeking a Social Media & Community Manager to serve as the primary owner of Jonard Tools’ social media presence, community engagement, paid social programs, Brand Ambassador Program, and Influencer Paid Media Program.
This role is responsible for publishing and managing social content, growing and engaging our community, leading ambassador and influencer initiatives end-to-end, and reporting on performance and insights. The Social Media & Community Manager will collaborate closely with the Multimedia Content Producer on content direction, creative strategy, and optimization, working as part of a cross-functional group that collectively shapes content decisions.
While this is not a full-time content creation role, occasional on-camera participation, content capture, or short-form content creation may be required as needed.
Weekend Availability*
*To support timely customer engagement and maintain a strong online presence, this role requires limited weekend availability. The Social Media & Community Manager will perform brief check-ins on Saturdays and Sundays (not to exceed one hour total per weekend) to monitor direct messages, ensure community standards are upheld, address any urgent issues, and repost select stories.
Responsibilities
Social Media & Community Management
● Publish scheduled content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube
● Manage the day-to-day social media calendar and publishing schedule
● Act as the primary steward of Jonard Tools’ online community by monitoring and responding to comments, DMs, mentions, and tagged content
● Maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms
● Monitor social conversations related to tools, trades, and customer experiences to identify engagement opportunities
● Run social promotions such as contests, challenges, and giveaways to increase engagement and community participation
● Manage the company’s Facebook Shop
● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure social content supports broader campaigns, launches, and initiatives
Paid Social Advertising & Performance Reporting
● Own the strategy, setup, management, and optimization of all paid social media advertising campaigns
● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content is optimized for paid promotion
● Analyze organic, paid social, ambassador, and influencer performance
● Prepare and present monthly and quarterly performance reports, including KPIs, insights, trends, and optimization recommendations
Brand Ambassador Program (Primary Ownership)
● Own the Brand Ambassador Program end-to-end
● Define program criteria, expectations, deliverables, and guidelines
● Identify, recruit, evaluate, onboard, and manage brand ambassadors
● Serve as the primary point of contact for all ambassador communications
● Provide onboarding materials, content guidance, and campaign direction
● Coordinate ambassador content initiatives including takeovers, reviews, promotions, and campaigns
● Ensure brand alignment, consistency, and professionalism across ambassador activity
● Track, measure, and report on ambassador performance, engagement, and ROI
● Continuously refine and scale the program based on performance insights
Influencer & Media Package Management
● Lead the development, execution, and fulfillment of influencer media packages
● Identify and propose new influencer partnerships aligned with campaign goals
● Develop partnership justifications outlining objectives, audience fit, and expected outcomes
● Coordinate contracting, onboarding, timelines, and deliverables
● Ensure all influencer agreements are fulfilled accurately and on schedule
● Track, analyze, and report on influencer campaign performance
Content Support & Field Capture (As Needed)
● Collaborate closely with the Multimedia Content Producer to evaluate what content styles are working and where improvements are needed
● Participate on-camera when necessary for short-form videos, promotional clips, or live sessions
● Capture behind-the-scenes content at trade shows, customer visits, product demos, and company events as needed
● Support creative brainstorming for organic campaigns and paid ad concepts
Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Work collaboratively with Marketing (Graphics & Video), Customer Relations, IT, Sales, and Human Resources
● Support broader marketing initiatives and integrated campaigns across digital channels
Travel & Event Support
● Travel as needed to trade shows, industry events, and influencer meetups to support brand presence, content capture, and relationship building
● Represent Jonard Tools professionally at in-person events and engagements
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
● 2+ years of experience in social media management or a similar role
● Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube
● Proven experience managing paid social media advertising campaigns
● Proven experience leading brand ambassador programs and influencer partnerships
● Experience managing influencer paid media or creator partnerships
● Strong understanding of social media KPIs, paid media metrics, and influencer reporting
● Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
● Strong organizational, project management, and negotiation skills
● Ability to manage multiple programs and partnerships simultaneously
● Comfortable appearing on camera when needed
● Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
● Self-starter with excellent time management and follow-through
● Video editing, graphic design, or content creation skills are a plus but not required
