The ideal candidate has a passion for creating video content with a focus on engagement and growth for the company on our platforms. We are looking for a team member who has creative ideas, understands and stays up to date on platform trends, has great video editing skills and a positive attitude.

The Social Media Content Creator is responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage the target audience, and drive business growth. This role involves managing various social media platforms, creating and curating content, analyzing performance metrics, algorithms, and staying updated on industry trends.

We are looking for someone who can:

◦ Be up at the shop every day filming for at least a couple of hours.

◦ Write scripts, film, edit and post videos to all of our social media platforms

◦ Someone who is enthusiastic and brings fun/upbeat energy to the shop

◦ Someone who stays UTD on social media trends and is knowledgeable about algorithms, etc.

◦ Someone who is constantly looking for ways to stand out on social media and jump on new trends

◦ Someone who can come up with fun but appropriate videos to include team members in around the shop

At least 3 videos are expected to be uploaded to all social media platforms every week.

Duties:
- Create engaging and informative content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media.
- Conduct research to gather relevant information and ensure accuracy of content
- Collaborate with the team to develop content strategies that align with business goals
- Edit and proofread content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into content creation
- Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of content

Skills:
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Experience in content creation for various platforms, such as websites, blogs, social media.
- Understanding of content strategy and ability to create content that aligns with business objectives
- Strong research skills to gather information from reliable sources
