Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Social Media & Content Creator who can own and drive Bradford’s organic social media presence, content strategy, and storytelling across platforms. The role requires a strong balance of content planning, copywriting, short-form video creation, trend awareness, and performance insight, especially for the education and service-based industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute monthly and quarterly social media content calendars
  • Plan content aligned with:
  • Admissions cycles
  • Campaign launches
  • University intakes & events
  • Identify platform-wise strategies for:
  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn
  • YouTube / Shorts / Reels
  • Tiktok

2. Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Create high-quality content including:
  • Posts, carousels, reels, shorts, and stories
  • Educational content, FAQs, testimonials, success stories
  • Founder, leadership, and counselor-led content
  • Website Content
  • Write compelling:
  • Captions
  • Headlines
  • Hashtags
  • CTAs
  • Ensure content tone reflects trust, authority, and academic credibility

3. Short-Form Video & Reels (Core Focus)

  • Conceptualize and create:
  • Instagram Reels
  • YouTube Shorts
  • LinkedIn video content
  • Work closely with:
  • Creative designers
  • Video editors
  • Marketing team
  • Guide shoots, basic framing, hooks, and storytelling for better engagement

4. Community Management & Engagement

  • Monitor and respond to:
  • Comments
  • DMs
  • Page messages
  • Escalate genuine leads or queries to admissions or sales teams
  • Build audience trust through timely and professional engagement

5. Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Track organic performance metrics:
  • Reach
  • Engagement
  • Follower growth
  • Content saves & shares
  • Identify what content works and refine strategy accordingly
  • Share regular performance insights with marketing leadership

Tools & Platforms (Must-Have)

Social Media & Content Tools

  • Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube
  • Meta Business Suite
  • Creator Studio
  • Scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, etc.)

Content & Editing Tools

  • Canva Pro
  • Basic video editing tools (CapCut / Premiere Pro / InShot)
  • Google Docs & Sheets (content planning)

Good-to-Have Tools

  • AI tools for ideation (ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly)
  • Social listening & analytics tools
  • Experience using Meta Ads Library for trend research

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in social media management & content creation
  • Experience in education, corporate, or service-based industries preferred
  • Proven ability to grow and manage organic social media channels
  • Strong portfolio showcasing posts, reels, and content campaigns
