About the Brand Design Team

The Brand Design team is Vedantu’s in-house creative powerhouse - shaping the brand's

identity and storytelling across platforms and formats. From logos, videos, and brand campaigns

to digital assets, OOH, and social media, the team comprises talented graphic designers,

writers, filmmakers, editors, and creative strategists. We’re pushing the boundaries of how an

education brand is seen, felt, and remembered.

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a Social Media Content Producer (Instagram) to own and grow Vedantu’s

Instagram handle, @vedantu_learns. This person will ideate, create, and publish engaging

content that reflects Vedantu’s brand personality, drives engagement with students and parents,

and builds a strong, authentic presence on Instagram.

The ideal candidate is deeply familiar with Instagram trends, reels, memes, and storytelling

formats, and can balance creativity with brand consistency.


Key Responsibilities

● Content Creation & Publishing

○ Plan, script, shoot, and edit content (reels, posts, carousels, memes, stories)

tailored for Instagram

○ Publish content regularly with a sharp sense of timing (especially for moment

marketing)

○ Experiment with trending formats, sounds, and visual styles while staying true to

the brand tone

● Strategy & Planning

○ Build a monthly Instagram content calendar aligned with campaign goals,

launches, and topical moments

○ Identify and leverage trends, hashtags, and cultural moments relevant to

students and parents

○ Collaborate with the Brand Design team to ensure cohesive storytelling

● Community & Engagement

○ Monitor audience comments, reactions, and DMs to identify opportunities for

engagement

○ Create interactive content (polls, Q&As, quizzes) to drive community participation

● Analytics & Optimization

○ Track and report on content performance (reach, engagement, saves, shares)

○ Use insights to optimize future content for higher impact

● Consistent publishing cadence on Instagram

● Growth in engagement (likes, shares, comments, saves)

● Increase in follower base with authentic, high-quality content

● Effective use of moment marketing & trending formats

● Strong brand presence among students & parents

Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

● 2–4 years of experience in social media content creation (Instagram focus preferred)

● Strong understanding of the Instagram ecosystem: reels, memes, trends, stories,

hashtags

● Hands-on skills in shooting and editing content (mobile-first + tools like CapCut,

Premiere Rush, Canva, etc.)


● A strong sense of humor, relatability, and youth culture

● Ability to write engaging captions, hooks, and micro-copy

● Familiarity with social media analytics and insights

Good to Have

● Background in design, communication, or media studies

● Experience with student/youth-focused brands

● Knowledge of EdTech or education marketing

● Experience working in a fast-paced content team
