Social Media Content Creator

In this role, you will be the creative force behind our clients’ online presence—primarily in the restaurant and hospitality industry—capturing high-quality content across multiple locations. You’ll develop engaging, on-trend visuals and campaigns that elevate brand awareness, promote events and products, and connect with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to various restaurant and hospitality locations in Charleston to capture photo and video content
• Develop and execute creative content strategies for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, viral formats, and emerging content styles
• Produce and edit high-quality multimedia content (or deliver raw content depending on project scope)
• Proactively bring new ideas, concepts, and campaign suggestions to clients
• Collaborate with marketing, branding, and PR teams to ensure consistent messaging
• Engage with online audiences through comments, messages, and reviews
• Assist with content planning and execution for promotions, events, and product launches
• Maintain strong client relationships by meeting expectations and consistently exceeding them

Qualifications

• Proven experience in content creation, videography, and photography (portfolio required)
• Strong creative eye with a passion for storytelling, especially within food, restaurant, or hospitality content (preferred but not required)
• Experience with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently on-location
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

Additional Requirements

• Must be based in or near Charleston, SC
• Must have access to professional or semi-professional camera/video equipment (or be willing to use provided equipment if applicable)
• Comfortable working on-site at various client locations

Compensation
Compensation is based on experience, quality of work, and equipment provided, as well as the scope of services (raw content vs. fully edited deliverables). Flexible structure depending on project needs and level of expertise.
