Social Media Content Creator & Influencer Marketing Coordinator

Company Description

Lingua Franca is an NYC-based luxury clothing and accessory brand known for their hand-embroidered cashmere goods and ethically sourced ready-to-wear collection. Their pieces are designed to spark conversation and showcase an irreverent point of view. Founded in 2016, Lingua Franca's unique embroidery aesthetic has gained a loyal following.

Role Overview

We're looking for a hybrid creator-and-coordinator to sit at the intersection of our social content engine and our influencer program. This role is equal parts hands-on maker and behind-the-scenes operator: you'll shoot and edit native content for our owned channels, and you'll run the day-to-day of our influencer and gifting program — casting, outreach, sending product, tracking performance, and building relationships with the creator community that already loves our brand.

You're the person who can produce a scroll-stopping TikTok in the morning, brief a creator over lunch, and pull a performance report by end of day. You care as much about how a piece of content feels as how it performs.

Key Responsibilities

Social Content Creation

  • Concept, shoot, and edit native content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Instagram Stories, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
  • Comfortable in front of the camera and ready to star in some of the content you create
  • Own a weekly content calendar including product launches, moments, trends, and always-on content
  • Capture behind-the-scenes, product-focused, styling, and lifestyle content in-house and on location
  • Edit vertical video in CapCut, Premiere, or equivalent — sound design, pacing, captions, effects
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, audio, and formats; translate what's working culturally into on-brand execution
  • Collaborate with the brand and creative team to ensure content is aesthetically consistent with the broader brand world

Influencer & Creator Marketing

  • Manage the day-to-day of our influencer and gifting program via Shopmy
  • Source and vet creators across tiers; own creator relationships and communication
  • Coordinate product seeding and creator briefs
  • Build and maintain a creator CRM: contact info, past collaborations, performance history, category fit
  • Manage relationships with recurring creator partners and identify new voices aligned with the brand
  • Track deliverables, ensure content ships on time and on-brief, and follow up on posts

Reporting & Insights

  • Track performance of owned social content and influencer campaigns: reach, engagement, saves, sends, click-throughs, EMV, sales when attributable
  • Build a monthly recap of what worked, what didn't, and what to test next
  • Leveraging Dash Hudson for social insight

Qualifications

Required

  • 2–4 years of experience in social content creation, influencer marketing, or a hybrid role — ideally at a fashion brand or creator-led business
  • A portfolio of native short-form video content you've personally shot and edited (please share links or reel in your application)
  • Fluency in TikTok and Instagram — you know what's trending before it peaks, and you understand platform-native language, pacing, and format
  • Hands-on experience running an influencer or gifting program: outreach, briefs, contracts, tracking
  • Strong project management instincts — you can juggle 10+ creator relationships and a content calendar without dropping details
  • Excellent written communication (creators, agents, and internal partners all get different tones from you)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with influencer platforms (Grin, Aspire, CreatorIQ, Later Influence, Tribe Dynamics, ShopMy)
  • Familiarity with UGC casting and community management
  • Photography or on-set producing experience
  • Basic graphic design skills (Figma, Canva, or Adobe Suite)
  • Experience negotiating creator contracts and understanding of FTC disclosure requirements
  • Familiarity with performance measurement — tracking codes, UTM parameters, attribution basics

Who You Are

  • You have taste. You can articulate why one piece of content works and another doesn't
  • You're organized enough to run an influencer program and creative enough to make content people actually want to watch
  • You're a self-starter who moves fast and doesn't need constant direction, but you know when to loop people in
  • You care about brand — you get that not every viral format is right for us, and you push back when something feels off
  • You're genuinely interested in the creator economy and follow it as more than a job
  • You're excited about our brand and can name at least three creators you'd love to work with us

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary in the range of $70-$75K plus performance bonus
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Generous PTO
  • Employee discount and gifting
  • A collaborative, ambitious team building one of the most beloved brands in the space
