Social Media Content Manager / Content Producer

Job Type: Contract, Part-Time or Flexible, with Potential for Ongoing Work

Location: South Jersey, must be able to attend events and content shoots in person

Starshield Entertainment is seeking an experienced, creative, and reliable Social Media Content Manager / Content Producer for an immediate hire.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of our content presence across TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest, while helping us keep our brand polished, active, relevant, and engaging. This role includes social posting, short-form content, event coverage, behind-the-scenes brand content, staff feature content, and weekly podcast production. The scope below aligns with the content structure we are actively building for Starshield.

Responsibilities

• Post 5* to 8 times per week* on each relevant platform, including TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest
• Create and maintain staff highlight videos for DJs, MCs, and key team members, updating content as staff grow, change, and evolve
• Capture and produce event content that showcases Starshield from a client-facing perspective, including crowd energy, performance, lighting, photobooths, and overall event experience
• Create behind-the-scenes content showing company culture, workflow, setup, prep, breakdown, and team personality
• Produce a weekly podcast, around 10 minutes per episode, including editing with multiple camera angles and pulling short-form hook clips for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels
• Help keep our brand voice, staff image, and overall social presence current and competitive in the social media space

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of short-form video content
• Ability to create content that is both polished and real
• Experience filming and editing for social media marketing
• Ability to capture a brand in a way that feels current, engaging, and strategic
• Someone organized enough to stay on top of posting schedules, content planning, and ongoing brand updates
• Comfortable working in fast-paced event environments and capturing content on-site

Monthly Scope of Work

• 4 edited podcast episodes per month
• 8 to 12 short-form podcast clips
• 4 to 6 event highlight reels per month
• Ongoing behind-the-scenes content
• Ongoing development and maintenance of staff highlight reels

• Booking-focused social content
