Mission of the Role
The Social Media & Content Strategist amplifies Miss Ruby Bridal’s brand voice, engaging our audience and driving appointments. You’ll create content that inspires, showcases our boutique, and connects with brides so they feel represented and excited to become Miss Ruby Brides. This role combines storytelling, creativity, and strategic thinking with hands-on content creation.

Role Overview
You are a content creator, strategist, and community builder. Your work spans social media, email, blogs, and video, all designed to attract new customers, nurture relationships, and support boutique growth. You’ll balance creative storytelling with measurable results, helping Miss Ruby Bridal grow visibility and appointment bookings.

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Plan, produce, and schedule engaging posts across Instagram, TikTok, & Facebook.
  • Create Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, graphics, and short-form content optimized for each platform.
  • Align all content with Miss Ruby Bridal’s brand voice, values, and visual identity.
  • Incorporate trending formats, audio, and pop-culture moments in real time.
  • Optimize posts for reach, engagement, and conversions (appointments booked, profile visits, link clicks).
  • Collaborate with the Branding Team to support photo shoots, events, and campaign planning.
  • Participate in a monthly ‘Branding Planning Meeting’ with leadership to plan goals.

Community Engagement & Lead Nurture

  • Respond to comments, tags, and direct messages promptly.
  • DM new followers and engage with local brides and wedding-related accounts.
  • Convert social media inquiries into booked appointments.

In-Store Content Capture

  • Attend appointments and boutique events to capture special moments (dress try-ons, yes moments, new arrivals).
  • Collaborate with staff to film, photograph, and maintain an organized content library.
  • Post live content during events when appropriate.

Boutique Support

  • Greet and check in guests when needed.
  • Assist with boutique operations such as tidying, answering phones, or supporting in-store events.

Qualifications

  • Skilled in Canva and creating eye-catching, elevated, on-brand graphics.
  • Hands-on experience filming, editing, and posting short-form content on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific trends, audio, hooks, and storytelling techniques.
  • Able to create content that drives bookings, not just looks pretty.
  • Comfortable filming in-store and working with stylists and brides.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible with hours; proactive in engaging online daily, even when not scheduled in-store.
  • Passionate about social justice, inclusivity, representation, and values-driven branding.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
