Job Description

Brehm Media is looking for a Social Media Content Writer & Graphic Designer who is genuinely strong with both writing and visual design.

This role requires someone who can create social media content where the copy and visuals work together naturally. The strongest candidates care about how something sounds, how it looks, and whether the two elements truly support each other. When feedback is given, it is remembered and applied moving forward rather than repeated.

This is not a strategy role and it is not client-facing. The focus of the work is consistent execution: producing high-quality social media content that aligns with the brand voice and direction provided.

Brehm Media is a boutique social media agency that specializes in organic social content, email marketing, and paid social advertising. Our clients rely on us to help their brands communicate clearly and consistently online.

We work with companies across multiple industries, but a portion of our work supports B2B organizations such as construction companies, professional service firms, and trade-based businesses. The social media content created for these companies needs to feel credible and professional while still being engaging and visually strong.

Our approach to content is structured and process-driven. Creatives work within a defined system that allows them to focus on producing thoughtful, high-quality work without needing to manage strategy, client communication, or account direction.

The Role

The Social Media Content Writer & Graphic Designer is responsible for producing monthly batches of social media content for B2B construction clients.

The work includes both writing and visual creation. Each piece of content must reflect the tone and messaging appropriate for the brand while maintaining platform-specific formatting and visual clarity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Writing brand-aligned social media captions for Facebook and Instagram
  • Designing static graphics and carousel posts using provided direction and brand guidelines
  • Creating reels and reel covers and editing short-form videos
  • Ensuring visuals and copy support each other and feel cohesive
  • Maintaining a consistent brand voice across multiple client accounts
  • Producing content that is clear, professional, and aligned with the construction industry

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys producing consistent, high-quality content on a recurring basis rather than jumping between one-off freelance projects.

Current Project Scope

We are currently hiring a Creative to support a group of construction industry clients.

The batch of accounts includes:

  • Three small construction accounts producing two posts per week per account. These posts are duplicated across Facebook and Instagram.
  • One medium-sized construction account producing three posts per week on Facebook and three posts per week on Instagram, with unique content for each platform.

Typical monthly production includes:

  • Approximately 41 static or carousel posts
  • Approximately 7 lightly edited reels

Most content produced for these accounts is static or carousel-based, with occasional light short-form video editing.

Typical payout for this batch of accounts is approximately $860 per month. Additional project batches are available for creatives who demonstrate strong execution.

Work Structure

This position is structured as project-based contractor work.

Content assignments are organized into weekly or monthly batches. Before production begins, the scope of the batch and its payout are clearly defined so that both parties understand the expectations and compensation for the project.

Occasional adjustments may arise during the month that slightly affect production scope.

Contractors manage their own schedule and workflow as long as agreed-upon deadlines are met.

A Note on Tools and AI

We recognize that tools, including AI-assisted tools, can support the creative process when used thoughtfully. At Brehm Media, however, tools are meant to assist the work rather than replace it.

Strong candidates for this role demonstrate judgment, attention to voice, and an understanding of how visuals and messaging work together. The goal is thoughtful execution rather than automated production.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

Over time, strong contributors become easy for the team to trust. The work submitted consistently reflects the client’s voice, aligns with the creative direction provided, and requires minimal revision. As familiarity with the accounts grows, feedback becomes lighter and the overall workflow becomes smoother.

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate demonstrates the following capabilities:

  • Strong social media copywriting skills with an understanding of tone and voice
  • Strong visual design ability for social media platforms
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
  • Familiarity with formatting content for Facebook and Instagram
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines while maintaining quality
  • Professional communication and openness to feedback

Experience working with B2B brands or agency environments is helpful but not required.
