Report To: Chief Revenue Officer & Chief Marketing Officer

Role Type: Marketing & Advertising

Prosperity Farm Distillery: We Farm to Serve.

About Prosperity Farm Distillery

Prosperity Farm is more than a distillery; we are a farm-first organization rooted in St. Croix’s culture, agriculture, and spirit. As a farm-to-bottle craft distillery, we craft premium spirits that celebrate Caribbean heritage, sustainability, and community.

Through closed-loop and regenerative practices, we are demonstrating that agriculture can be a force for healing and economic prosperity. Our brand voice blends authenticity, craftsmanship, and vibrant island energy. We are seeking a storyteller to help us share this vision with St. Croix and the world.

Farm-First. Reparative. Value-Added Agriculture.

The Role – Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, data-driven Social Media Coordinator to oversee content development, manage platforms, and drive digital growth across all channels. As a Brand Storyteller, you'll craft engaging visual narratives that communicate our story. You will connect our farm, spirits, and experiences, transforming Value-Added Agriculture into a lifestyle that appeals to our community. This role blends visual storytelling, brand consistency, and performance marketing to grow our audience and increase engagement, visits, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Narrative & Visual Storytelling

  • The Farm-First Story: Capture the raw beauty of our regenerative practices—from soil health and green bean cover crops to the harvest of our first cane.
  • On-Site Capture: Spend time on the farm and in the distillery to capture high-quality, raw, and polished content (Reels, TikToks, Photography).
  • Botanical Refinement: Document the craftsmanship behind our "refined botanicals" (Sorrel, Ginger, Banana), showcasing how raw agriculture is transformed into world-class liqueurs.
  • Reparative Practice: Develop content that highlights our community partnerships and environmental stewardship with transparency, humility, and authenticity.
  • Event Coverage: Real-time coverage of community partnerships, corporate events, and weddings to showcase the distillery as a premier USVI event destination.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure every post, reel, and caption aligns with our purpose to move from a polarizing past to a collaborative, visionary future.

2. Platform Management & Community Growth

  • Daily Management: Manage a cohesive visual identity across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Reputation Management: Proactively engage with our community, responding to comments and DMs in a voice that is empathetic, informed, and brand aligned.
  • Growth Strategy: Execute a posting cadence that aligns with key operations (e.g., harvest cycles, holiday corporate bookings, new spirit releases).
  • Maintain a content calendar that balances four key pillars: The Farm (Agriculture), The Craft (Processing Center/Distillery), The Experience (Tasting Room/Tourism), and The Mission (Community/Reparative).

3. Performance Marketing (Paid Social)

  • Ad Management: Set up and optimize paid campaigns via Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads to target both locals and tourists.
  • Conversion Focus: Build campaigns specifically designed to drive Tours, Moonshine & Mixology Classes, and Event Inquiry Form submissions.
  • Reporting: Translate data (CPC, ROAS, Reach) into clear insights for the leadership team.

4. Brand Advocacy

  • Authenticity: Ensure every post reflects the Prosperity Farm voice—authentic, vibrant, and premium. No AI-generated content.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with local influencers and tourism partners to expand our reach within the Caribbean hospitality ecosystem.

5. Graphic Design

§ Marketing Collateral & Creatives: Create assets that focus on online engagement, conversion, and brand awareness, such as Social Media kits, Display Ads, Email templates, Landing pages, and Presentation decks.

§ Print & Physical Collateral: The ability to create physical touchpoints vital for building trust and tangible brand presence, such as Stationery, Sales Sheets & Brochures, Direct Mail, Environmental Graphics, and Signage.

§ Content Creatives: Create content with a focus on storytelling and high-impact visual communication that includes motion graphics, Infographics, Interactive content, and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 2+ Years Experience: Proven track record in social media, journalism, or digital storytelling.
  • Visual Proficiency: Strong skills in iPhone/DSLR photography and short-form video (Reels/TikTok) production.
  • Emotional Intelligence: The ability to navigate sensitive community topics with grace and strategic clarity.
  • Self-Starter: Someone who is comfortable being out in the field capturing content one moment and analyzing ad metrics the next.
  • Technical Skills: Expert-level mobile video editing (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush) and proficiency in Meta Ads Manager & Google Ads Manager.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating an ability to capture the vibe of a place, not just static images.
  • Local Knowledge: A deep appreciation for St. Croix culture, agriculture, and the USVI tourism landscape.

Required Skills

  • Graphic design (Canva/Adobe) for event flyers and digital menus.
  • Photography and Videography skills that capture our Mission:

Provide meaningful and delightful experiences through regenerative farming, agritourism, and craft distilling.

  • Copywriting skills that tell the brand story of our farm-to-bottle experience and our long-term Vision: Cultivate abundance as the world’s most reparative, sustainable, and culturally resonant agribusiness.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with drone photography (to capture the scale of our land).

Success Metrics

  • Engagement: Consistent growth in meaningful interactions (shares, views, impressions, saves, comments).
  • Foot Traffic: Measurable increase in tours, sign-ups for classes, and attendance at events.
  • Lead Generation: Increase in qualified event inquiries via the website inquiry form.
  • Brand Consistency: A cohesive, professional, and inviting aesthetic across all digital touchpoints.
  • Conversion: Increased click-through rates that lead to booked tours.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary/contract rate based on experience.
  • Performance-based incentives tied to growth and campaign success.
  • The opportunity to shape the digital identity of one of the Caribbean's fastest-growing craft brands.

Please note: We invite individuals who possess at least 60% of the necessary skills and experience, are self-motivated, have an owner-operator mindset, are eager to learn, are dedicated to community, and are interested in joining our mission to apply.
