Social Media Coordinator / Content Creator

Curvebreakers Test Prep helps students succeed on the SAT, ACT, and other standardized tests through high-quality tutoring, courses, and innovative learning tools. We’re growing quickly and looking for a creative Content Creator to take our social media presence to the next level.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a skilled and trend-savvy content creator who can design and execute engaging posts, videos, and stories across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook. You’ll have the freedom to pitch new ideas, experiment with different formats, and showcase our unique voice in the test prep and education space.

It is required that you help us create content both behind the camera and infront of it. You will be responsible for working with our marketing team to brainstorm ideas and put them into action by filming content alongside our team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, film, edit, and publish content (photos, videos, reels, graphics, etc.) for multiple social platforms
• Stay on top of social media trends to create timely and engaging posts
• Work with our team to highlight our courses, events, tutors, and success stories
• Develop and maintain a content calendar
• Analyze engagement metrics and suggest improvements

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience creating social media content (professional or portfolio-based)
• Strong skills in short-form video editing (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar editing tools
• Understanding of trends in education, Gen Z content styles, and branding
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Bonus: Experience with paid ads, SEO, or copywriting

Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
