Founded in 2019 by yogi and former tech employee Lauren Chew , Love + Chew is on a mission to make plant-based foods accessible, tasty, and sustainable. We bake clean-label, plant-based protein cookies available in seven craveable flavors.

A portion of proceeds supports local organizations like Oasis for Girls in San Francisco, and our packaging uses 30% post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR) . We’re proudly WBENC-certified and AAPI-owned . The Role

We’re looking for a creative, self-motivated Social Media + Community Manager to bring our brand voice to life across social platforms. You’ll ideate, create, and manage content that inspires our community and grows Love + Chew’s presence — from daily TikToks to deeper storytelling around our mission and products.

You’ll collaborate closely with our CEO to shape strategy and help our brand stand out in the crowded snack world. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Create engaging, platform-specific content aligned with Love + Chew’s goals — awareness, engagement, and conversions.
• Concept and produce storytelling initiatives (short-form videos, influencer collabs, co-branded campaigns, UGC features, etc.).
• Shoot and edit lifestyle videos — ideally delivering 3 videos per week. Must be comfortable both behind and in front of the camera .
• Write captions and posts that reflect our brand personality and voice.
• Track key performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth) and report insights weekly.
• Meet with the CEO weekly to review performance and brainstorm new ideas.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience managing social media channels for a brand (ideally in food, wellness, or lifestyle).
• Proven track record of growing engaged communities — not just followers.
• Confident creating content (copy, video, and visuals).
• Comfortable on-camera and up to date on TikTok and Reels trends.

Creative, organized, and excited to bring fresh ideas to a small but mighty team.

Compensation: $15-25/hr DOE, up to 20 hours a week.
