Social Media Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and creative Social Media Designer to join our marketing and creative team. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing compelling visual content tailored for various social media platforms, ensuring consistency with our brand identity and campaign goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design eye-catching graphics, visuals, videos, and animations for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
• Translate marketing messages and briefs into effective, shareable visual content
• Develop creative assets for paid ads, stories, reels, carousels, and promotions
• Work closely with the marketing, copywriting, and social media teams to plan and execute content calendars
• Adapt and repurpose visuals across formats and platforms while maintaining design consistency
• Stay updated with the latest trends in social media, design, and motion graphics
• Maintain and organize design files, templates, and brand assets for future use

Requirements

• Proven experience (0-2 years) as a graphic designer focused on social media content
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and tools like Canva or Figma
• Experience with video editing or animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
• A strong portfolio showcasing social media content (static & animated)
• Knowledge of aspect ratios, resolution standards, and best practices for each platform
• Strong sense of typography, layout, color, and attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a digital agency, brand marketing team, or content studio
• Motion graphics/animation skills
• Basic photography or videography skills are a plus
• Understanding of social media performance metrics and how design impacts engagement
