Overview

Gayatri Web Services is seeking a talented and data-driven Social Media Executive to lead our social media strategy, elevate our brand presence, and drive engagement across all relevant platforms. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller, a strategic thinker, and an expert in current social media trends and analytics.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy and Planning

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with overall marketing goals and brand voice.
  • Define the most important social media key performance indicators (KPIs) and track success metrics across all active channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, platform changes, and competitor activities.

Content Creation and Management

  • Plan, schedule, and publish high-quality, engaging content (including text, images, videos, and live sessions) daily across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok.
  • Oversee graphic design and video production efforts specifically tailored for social media consumption.
  • Manage and execute paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation, ad creation, and performance optimization.

Community Engagement and Customer Service

  • Monitor all social channels for mentions, comments, and direct messages, ensuring timely and professional responses that adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Actively engage with the community to build relationships, foster discussion, and gather customer feedback.
  • Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers and brand advocates.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Analyze social media campaign performance, audience growth, and engagement rates using native platform analytics and third-party tools.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports detailing key insights, results, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct A/B testing on content and campaigns to continually optimize performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of [3-5] years of proven experience as a Social Media Executive or a similar role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of all major social media platforms (algorithms, ad systems, and user behavior).
  • Tools: Proficiency with social media management and monitoring tools (e.g., Buffer, Sprout Social, Hootsuite) and analytics software.
  • Writing Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong portfolio of brand-relevant social media content.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing large-scale, enterprise-level social media accounts.
  • Familiarity with SEO, web traffic metrics, and Google Analytics.
  • Basic to intermediate skills in graphic design (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and video editing.
  • Proven ability to handle social media crisis management situations calmly and effectively.
  • English Fluency
