Hiring: Social Media Executive

Location: Bandra East, Mumbai

Working Model: 6 days a week — 5 days WFH, 1 day WFO

Experience: 3–5 years (News/Media industry experience is a must )

We’re looking for a dynamic Social Media Executive with a strong background in news or media who can plan, create, and execute engaging digital content that drives audience growth and engagement across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow Mid-day’s social media presence across platforms
• Plan and execute daily content calendars aligned with brand goals and editorial stories
• Collaborate with editorial and design teams to create high-impact posts, reels, and stories
• Monitor trends, breaking news, and viral content to ensure timely and relevant engagement
• Track analytics and insights to optimize performance and report results
• Ensure brand voice and visual identity remain consistent across all platforms

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in social media management within a news, digital, or media organization (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of news cycles, trending topics, and social media best practices
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple platforms efficiently
• Basic knowledge of social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar)
• Creative mindset with a strong sense of design and audience engagement
