About The Reel Factory:

The Reel Factory is a creative media and video production company specializing in commercials, brand films, social media content, reels, and visual storytelling.
We are looking for a Content Creation Planner who can support our production team with ideas, concepts, and social media execution.

Role Summary:

The Content Creation Planner will be responsible for planning content ideas, handling social media, coordinating with the video team, and managing basic SEO tasks.
This role requires creativity, trend awareness, and strong communication.

Key Responsibilities: Content Planning & Ideation

• Plan creative ideas for reels, videos, scripts, and shoot concepts.
• Develop monthly content calendars for all social platforms.
• Create storyboards or simple outlines for video shoots.
• Research trends to create visually appealing and engaging content.

Social Media Management

• Handle daily social media posting (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn).
• Write captions, hashtags, and content descriptions.
• Manage comments, DMs, and audience engagement.
• Track social media performance and insights.

Basic SEO & Website Updates

• Perform keyword research and optimize content for SEO.
• Update website pages with correct meta tags, titles, and descriptions.
• Support the team with blog posting or content updates.

Creative Coordination

• Work closely with the video editing and cinematography teams.
• Provide creative briefs and references for shoots.
• Ensure content quality and brand consistency.

Required Skills:

• Degree in Visual Communication, Media, Marketing, or related fields.
• 1–2 years of experience in social media/content creation (Freshers with strong creativity can also apply).
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts & trending content.
• Basic SEO knowledge.
• Good communication and planning skills.
• Comfortable working from office in Chennai.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic Canva/Photoshop knowledge.
• Scriptwriting ideas for short videos.
• Good visual sense and interest in video production.
