Job Purpose: The position is for the corporate office, Karachi based. The social media handler is responsible for planning, creating and administrating content on all social media platforms in order to increase the company’s awareness and improve marketing efforts.
Duties and responsibilities
- Developing and implementing effective social media strategies.
- Creating engaging content that attracts the attention of the target audience.
- Scheduling social media posts as per the plan & manage social media communication on time.
- Monitoring social media metrics and KPIs regularly.
- Coming up with innovative ideas and concepts.
- Maintaining a healthy relationship with industrial professionals.·
- Research new concepts and ideas and propose them to the team.
- Assisting in hiring with the team as and when required.
- Identify emerging trends and develop recommendations based on the voice of the audience.
- Attending brainstorming sessions and meeting with clients to discuss their requirements.
- Preparing campaign reports and presenting them to the Head of the Department.

- Thorough knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok and others.
- Strong understanding of social media KPI and metrics.
- Outstanding creative & copywriting and content development skills.·
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- A creative thinker with an ability to think out of the box.
- Ability to understand basic design concepts.
- Ability to quickly pivot and react to new trends, opportunities or crises.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's in Media Sciences/Marketing/Advertising/Digital Marketing from a reputable university.
Experience: At least 2 - 3 years of experience.
