Social Media Executive

Job Title: Social Media & Digital Marketing Executive

Location: Muscat, Oman

Department: Marketing

I. Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Understanding of social media marketing trends and their impact on business.
  • Practical experience with digital platforms, content creation, and campaign execution.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to plan and execute engaging campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and awareness of current digital best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams to support marketing initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software tools.

II. Duties & Responsibilities

Social Media & Digital Management:

  • Manage all current and future social media accounts in compliance with company policies and brand standards.
  • Set up and manage company accounts across relevant digital platforms.
  • Manage company communication channels, including WhatsApp, email, and telephone, responding to customer queries promptly (within 24 hours).
  • Respond to messages, comments, inquiries, and concerns across all digital channels.

Campaign & Content Creation:
5. Recommend creative approaches to enhance the brand’s image and visibility.
6. Develop, execute, and manage social media and digital campaigns.
7. Create engaging content, including posts, stories, videos, and graphics.
8. Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and agencies for high-quality visuals.
9. Collaborate with Graphic Designers to create visually appealing social media content.

Strategy & Planning:
10. Develop monthly and annual social media plans for management review.
11. Conduct research on trends, competitors, and best practices to optimize campaigns.
12. Identify and collaborate with social media influencers to support marketing campaigns.
13. Develop and implement SOPs for social media activities to ensure consistency.

Monitoring & Reporting:
14. Maintain records of campaigns, influencer collaborations, and digital activities.
15. Manage customer complaints and feedback from digital platforms and report them to the Marketing Executive.
16. Prepare monthly and annual reports on social media performance (engagement, follower growth, campaign results).
