About the Role

Matlaay is looking for a confident and communication-friendly intern who can manage our social media presence and coordinate collaborations with food vloggers and influencers. The ideal candidate should be comfortable talking to people, pitching ideas, and building relationships online and offline.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Manage and post content on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Reply to messages, comments, and inquiries professionally
• Maintain daily posting schedule (posts, reels, stories)
• Assist in creating captions, hashtags, and engagement strategies
• Monitor page engagement and suggest improvements

Influencer & Vlogger Collaboration

• Reach out to food vloggers and content creators for collaborations
• Pitch Matlaay partnerships and explain collaboration benefits
• Coordinate visits of influencers to partner restaurants
• Manage collaboration schedules and confirmations
• Maintain a database of influencers and contacts
• Follow up with influencers and ensure content posting

Engagement & Communication

• Interact with followers and potential partners
• Handle basic queries from restaurants and customers
• Assist marketing team in campaigns and promotions
• Collect feedback and share insights with the team

Requirements

• Student or fresh graduate (Marketing, Media, Business, or related field preferred)
• Good spoken and written communication skills
• Confident personality and comfortable talking on calls/WhatsApp
• Active social media user (Instagram/TikTok knowledge required)
• Basic understanding of content, reels, and trends
• Ability to convince and coordinate with influencers
• Responsible and punctual

Preferred Skills

• Experience running a page, blog, or personal content account
• Interest in food industry or restaurant marketing
