Social Media Intern

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Create engaging content for social media posts, including graphics, videos, and written copy.
• Conduct keyword research and utilize SEO best practices to optimize content visibility.
• Monitor social media channels for trends and audience engagement through social listening.
• Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics to schedule posts and analyze performance metrics.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on public relations initiatives and e-commerce strategies.
• Support graphic design efforts using Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and promotional activities.
• Proofread all content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
• Assist in photography and video editing for promotional materials.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer) is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and web analytics (Google Analytics).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is highly desirable.
• Strong writing skills with attention to detail for proofreading content.
• Understanding of digital marketing concepts including branding, public relations, and e-commerce.
• Ability to manage relationships effectively within a team environment.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new skills in social media marketing and graphic design.
• Previous experience or coursework in content creation or video editing is a plus.
