Social Media Intern

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Intern. This is a paid internship opportunity that will provide valuable hands-on experience in the field of social media marketing. As a Social Media Intern, you will work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement social media strategies to enhance our brand presence and engage with our target audience.

Duties:
- Assist in creating and curating engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and competitor activity
- Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to optimize social media campaigns
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns
- Assist in managing social media advertising campaigns
- Track and analyze key metrics to measure the success of social media efforts
- Support the team in other marketing initiatives as needed

Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of advertising principles and e-commerce strategies
- Proficient in content creation, including graphic design and video editing
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with influencers and online communities
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong proofreading skills
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of social media marketing and public relations concepts
