Job Description: Social Media Intern
We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Intern to support the company’s digital presence by managing daily content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging posts and reels on a daily basis, contributing to brand visibility, and supporting ongoing marketing and communication initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and publish daily content on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Plan, create, and edit daily reels and short-form video content aligned with company branding.
- Write clear, engaging captions and select relevant hashtags for each platform.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the social media content calendar.
- Monitor engagement, comments, and messages, and coordinate responses when required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather content related to company updates, achievements, and culture.
- Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms.
- Track basic social media performance metrics and share updates with the reporting manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Experience or familiarity with video editing and reel creation tools.
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to follow brand guidelines.
- Ability to manage daily posting tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new trends and formats.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree/diploma program in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar design/video editing tools.
- Prior internship, academic project, or personal social media management experience is a plus.
