Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. The intern will assist in managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, monitoring performance, and supporting digital marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing company social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
• Create and schedule posts, stories, reels, and campaigns
• Develop engaging content including captions, images, and short videos
• Monitor social media trends and competitor activities
• Respond to comments, messages, and audience interactions
• Support social media campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives
• Track social media performance metrics and prepare reports
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams for content creation
• Conduct hashtag research and optimize posts for reach

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field
• Basic understanding of social media platforms and trends
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinking and content creation ability
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms is a plus
• Basic knowledge of analytics and engagement metrics
• Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Video editing or graphic design skills
• Knowledge of Instagram Reels / YouTube Shorts trends
• Understanding of digital marketing concepts
• Experience managing personal or college social media pages
