Job Description:
We’re looking for a creative, confident, and tech-savvy Social Media Intern to manage and grow our online presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media trends, content creation, branding, and digital marketing, with the ability to turn ideas into engaging content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
- Create, plan, and manage monthly content calendars.
- Generate creative ideas for posts, reels, carousels, stories, campaigns, and other digital content.
- Write engaging captions, hooks, scripts, and social media copy.
- Record, shoot, edit, and publish short-form video content and reels.
- Handle camera work, shooting angles, lighting, and creative direction for video content.
- Edit videos using tools such as CapCut, InShot, Premiere Pro, or other relevant software.
- Design social media posts, carousels, banners, thumbnails, and other marketing creatives using Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools.
- Manage the complete content creation process from ideation to publishing.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, viral formats, sounds, hashtags, and content strategies.
- Develop content that reflects the company’s brand identity, tone, and positioning.
- Manage and maintain consistent posting across all social media platforms.
- Monitor social media performance, reach, engagement, followers, and other key metrics.
- Prepare regular social media performance reports and suggest improvements based on analytics.
- Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and relevant interactions.
- Support employer branding and HR marketing campaigns, including hiring campaigns, internship drives, employee engagement, and company culture content.
- Promote company events, workshops, university visits, career sessions, and recruitment campaigns.
- Coordinate with the HR, Sales, Project Management, and Technical teams to create relevant content.
- Create content that highlights the company’s software development services, projects, expertise, and technology solutions.
- Support client-focused marketing campaigns aimed at brand awareness, lead generation, and client acquisition.
- Assist in developing marketing campaigns for international audiences and target markets.
- Coordinate and arrange workshops, university events, career counselling sessions, and other brand awareness activities.
- Collaborate with influencers, creators, universities, and relevant communities when required.
- Maintain an organized library of content, creatives, videos, brand assets, and marketing materials.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely, high-quality execution.
- Bring fresh, bold, and innovative ideas to the marketing team.
- Continuously experiment with new content formats and strategies to improve brand visibility and engagement.
Requirements:
- 0-6 months of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube.
- Good knowledge of content creation, social media trends, and digital marketing.
- Experience with Canva and video editing tools such as CapCut, InShot, Premiere Pro, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of photography, videography, camera handling, and lighting.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a good aesthetic sense.
- Confident and comfortable appearing on camera when required.
- Interest in technology, software, AI, and digital trends.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work with multiple teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
