Social Media Intern (Summer| Education Startup)

We are a growing startup in the education space seeking a creative and self-motivated Social Media Intern for the summer.

This is a low-pressure, flexible opportunity ideal for a high school or college student interested in marketing, communications, or education. You’ll help us build our online presence by creating and posting content across multiple platforms.

If you enjoy storytelling, content creation, and working independently—this is a great way to build your portfolio and gain real-world experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule social media posts a few times per week
• Manage and post content on:
• LinkedIn
• Instagram
• Facebook
• YouTube (short-form or basic uploads)
• Help brainstorm content ideas aligned with our mission
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone
• Work independently and meet simple weekly goals

Qualifications

• High school or college student (all years welcome)
• Interest in social media, marketing, or education
• Ability to work independently and manage time well
• Basic familiarity with social media platforms
• Creative mindset and attention to detail

Preferred (but not required)

• Experience creating content (Reels, Shorts, posts, etc.)
• Basic design skills (Canva or similar tools)
• Interest in education, student success, or career pathways
