Social Media Internship

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This part time position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, strong communication skills, and a desire to learn about brand development and audience engagement.

Duties

• Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging content across various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility.
• Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Adobe Creative Suite for social media management and graphic design tasks.
• Monitor social media channels for trends and audience feedback through social listening techniques.
• Support public relations efforts by crafting press releases and managing relationships with influencers.
• Analyze social media performance using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to inform strategy adjustments.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on branding initiatives and e-commerce strategies.
• Create visually appealing graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Assist in video editing for promotional content and campaigns.
• Proofread all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing principles.
• Familiarity with SEO techniques, keyword research, and web analytics.
• Experience or coursework in graphic design is preferred; proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
• Knowledge of social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer is desirable.
• Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail in proofreading.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Basic photography skills are advantageous for creating original visual content.
• A passion for staying updated on industry trends in social media marketing, e-commerce, and public relations. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build their portfolio while gaining valuable experience in the fast-paced world of digital marketing.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Passionate about social media, content creation, and storytelling.
• Familiar with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut (bonus if skilled in video editing).
• Excited about startups, entrepreneurship, and/or logistics tech.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to take ownership of projects with minimal supervision.
• Bonus: Knowledge of B2B SaaS marketing or experience running social accounts for a brand.
