Position Overview
The Social Media Lead will be responsible for planning, executing, managing, and analyzing all social media activities across all platforms for Lalit Tutorials and associated brands. This role combines both strategic leadership (Manager responsibilities) and hands-on content execution (Executive responsibilities) to ensure consistent brand presence, engagement, and growth.
1. Strategy & Planning (Manager Responsibilities)
- Develop monthly and quarterly social media strategies aligned with business goals.
- Create platform-wise growth plans (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google My Business, etc.).
- Plan content calendars, campaigns, festive posts, academic result posts, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with management for branding guidelines, approvals, and campaign directions.
- Monitor competitor trends and apply best practices.
- Manage and guide designers, video editors, and interns (if assigned).
2. Content Creation & Execution (Executive Responsibilities)
- Write creative captions, scripts, and post ideas.
- Coordinate with graphic designers and video editors for daily posts and reels.
- Handle daily posting across all platforms including stories & GMB updates.
- Create basic content independently when required (Canva posts/stories).
- Assist in creating marketing videos, student testimonial content, and event coverage.
3. Social Media Management
- Monitor comments, messages, inquiries & respond promptly.
- Engage with audience through Q&As, polls, quizzes, reels, and trending formats.
- Manage hashtags, SEO for Instagram Reels, and post optimizations.
- Maintain uniform brand identity across all channels.
4. Analytics & Reporting
- Track growth metrics (followers, engagement rate, reach, impressions, leads).
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports for management.
- Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements based on insights.
5. Brand & Communication
- Maintain strong coordination between Marketing, Academics, HR, and Management for all updates.
- Cover important events like seminars, workshops, exams, results, festivals, etc.
- Promote all institute programs (NEET, JEE, MHT-CET, Foundation, Residential Campus).
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Social Media Marketing / Digital Marketing.
- Strong creative thinking and trend awareness.
- Hands-on experience with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and GMB.
- Knowledge of analytics tools (Meta Insights, YouTube Studio, Google Analytics).
- Ability to write engaging captions and scripts.
- Basic understanding of photo/video editing (Canva, CapCut preferred).
- Strong communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
Good to Have (Optional)
- Experience in educational or coaching industry.
- Skills in photography, videography, and editing.
Knowledge of paid ads (Meta Ads, Google Ads).

Compensation
Salary based on experience + performance-based incentives
