Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to lead our social media initiatives across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-impact strategies, creating engaging content, managing online communities, and driving brand awareness and customer engagement. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and team members effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Design, develop, and execute creative and engaging social media strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Identify emerging consumer trends to guide campaign planning and content creation.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and provide actionable insights to improve performance.

Content Creation & Management

  • Manage day-to-day activities across all social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, Tumblr, and YouTube.
  • Adapt and optimize content for different platforms and audience segments.
  • Plan, create, and/or coordinate original multimedia content using tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Buffer, Asana, and Later.
  • Develop, launch, and manage creative social media campaigns, including contests and promotions.

Community Engagement

  • Manage online communities by responding to comments, messages, and initiating discussions to enhance engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers and content creators across relevant platforms.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor, track, and analyze performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Audience Insights, and platform-specific dashboards.
  • Prepare regular reports with insights, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Research and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve measurement, reporting, and overall social media performance.

People & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage, coach, and motivate junior team members such as Social Media Executives and Assistants.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between social media and broader marketing efforts.
  • Manage and track social media budgets effectively.
  • Educate internal teams on best practices for social media usage (for in-house roles).
  • Liaise with clients regularly via phone, email, video calls, or in-person meetings.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of all major social media platforms and latest trends.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with content creation, influencer management, and community engagement.
  • Proficiency in social media scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor junior staff.
