Job Title: Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager will develop, execute, and optimize the company’s social media strategy to enhance brand awareness and generate leads. This role requires strong storytelling skills, an understanding of technical/industrial sectors, and the ability to translate complex water treatment concepts into engaging digital content.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand objectives and marketing goals.

- Identify target audiences, platforms, and content opportunities specific to the water treatment and chemical manufacturing industry.

-Track industry trends to ensure competitive digital presence.

Content Creation & Management

- Create, curate, and publish content (posts, infographics, short videos, educational content, case studies, product highlights).

- Translate technical water treatment concepts into easy-to-understand and engaging digital material.

- Collaborate with product, R&D, and technical teams to ensure content accuracy.

Community Engagement

- Manage and grow social media communities across different social platforms.

- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries professionally and in alignment with brand voice.

- Build relationships with industry professionals, distributors, and customers.

Campaigns & Lead Generation

- Execute social media campaigns supporting product launches, events, exhibitions, and sustainability initiatives.

- Use paid social media advertising to improve reach and lead generation.

Analytics & Reporting

- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools.

- Provide insights and recommendations for content optimization and audience engagement.

-Track competitor activities and industry benchmarks.

Brand Management

- Ensure consistent brand messaging and identity across all platforms.

- Uphold regulatory and compliance standards related to chemical and industrial communications.

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in social media management, preferably in B2B, industrial, chemical, or manufacturing sectors.

- Experience creating technical or science-based content is a strong advantage.

Skills

- Strong content creation and copywriting skills.

- Knowledge of water treatment industry or ability to quickly learn technical concepts.

- Proficiency with social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Google Analytics).

- Ability to create basic graphics or collaborate with design teams (Canva, Adobe tools preferred).

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Creative thinking with a data-driven approach.
