Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, proactive, and brand focused Social Media Manager to manage and grow our company’s in-house social media presence. This role is dedicated to creating, publishing, and optimizing original content that represents our own brand voice, culture, and vision. The ideal candidate understands storytelling, audience engagement, and platform specific content strategies, and is passionate about building a strong digital identity through organic and paid content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute social media strategies specifically for our own brand and platforms
  • Create, curate, and publish high-quality original content (copy, visuals, reels, short-form videos, stories, etc.)
  • Manage daily posting schedules and content calendars across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Collaborate closely with teams to ensure brand alignment
  • Monitor audience engagement, respond to comments and messages, and build an active online community
  • Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth, conversions) and optimize content accordingly
  • Stay updated on platform algorithms, trends, formats, and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant
  • Manage and optimize social media campaigns for brand awareness and growth
  • Analyze competitor activity and industry trends to identify content opportunities
  • Report insights and recommendations to improve content performance and audience growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Management, or a related field
  • Proven 2-3 years of experience as a Social Media Manager for an in-house brand or content-driven company
  • Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content ideation skills
  • Hands-on experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite)
  • Understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with content creators, videographers, or production teams
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design or video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, etc.)
  • Understanding of SEO, hashtags, and discoverability on social platforms
  • Ability to adapt quickly to trends and viral content formats
  • Experience managing brand reputation and engagement during high-traffic campaigns
