Social Media Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, politically savvy, and results-driven Social Media and Marketing Manager to oversee the daily execution of social media content across organizational and leadership brands, including Tea Party Patriots Action and Jenny Beth Martin. This role is responsible for publishing, engagement, coordination, and real-time responsiveness across platforms in a fast-paced media environment.

This position is ideal for a self-starter who understands political communications, digital media, and how social platforms support the growth of podcasts, daily shows, and issue advocacy campaigns.

This position is in the Communicaitons & Media department and reports to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities

Social Media Execution & Publishing

  • Schedule and publish daily content across X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Rumble, and other platforms as needed
  • Manage posting calendars for multiple brands with distinct voices
  • Write platform-optimized captions and post copy aligned with approved messaging

Engagement & Monitoring

  • Monitor replies, comments, and trending topics
  • Engage with supporters and manage comment moderation
  • Flag breaking news and rapid-response opportunities

Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate closely with video, graphics, and leadership teams
  • Track engagement metrics and provide regular performance updates
  • Support podcast episode launches and clip distribution strategies

Podcast & Show Promotion

  • Execute promotion strategies for podcasts and daily shows
  • Coordinate posting of short-form clips, episode promos, and evergreen content
  • Support audience growth and subscriber conversion efforts

Note: Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Political Science, Marketing, or a related field preferred; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to identify engagement opportunities, anticipate messaging risks, and respond effectively to real-time developments.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, scheduling tools, analytics dashboards, and collaboration tools such as Google Drive, Slack, and project management software.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with occasional evening or weekend work tied to live shows or breaking news.

Requirements

  • High personal accountability (ownership without excuses)
  • Ability to maintain consistent brand voice and message discipline across all platforms.
  • Ideological alignment with constitutional conservatism
  • 3-5 years of experience of operating in a fast-paced news environment
  • 3-5 years of experience with daily multi-platform social media execution (publishing, scheduling, engagement)
  • 3-5 years of work in writing and editing (clear, persuasive, disciplined messaging)

What We Offer:

  • $65,000-$90,000 Salary DOE
