Social Media Manager and Content Creator

About the Role

As our Social Media Manager & Content Creator, you will be the voice and visual storyteller of Designs 4 You. You’ll capture the beauty of our remodeling and outdoor living projects, create compelling social content, and manage our online presence across multiple platforms.

You will play a key role in growing our brand visibility and engaging our audience on:

• Facebook
• Instagram
• YouTube
• TikTok
• X (formerly Twitter)

Responsibilities

• Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos of project sites, team highlights, and client features.
• Create engaging posts, stories, and reels tailored to each platform’s audience.
• Develop and maintain a consistent posting schedule and content calendar.
• Write creative, on-brand captions and manage community engagement (comments, DMs, tags).
• Track performance analytics and adjust strategies to increase engagement and growth.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and marketing staff to plan content around ongoing projects and campaigns.
• Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand, preferably in home improvement, design, or lifestyle industries.
• Strong photography and videography skills (mobile or DSLR).
• Proficiency with content creation and editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
• Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of analytics, hashtags, and engagement strategies.
• Ability to work independently, visit project sites across San Diego, and manage multiple deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
