Compensation: $4k monthly (Contract: 12 months with potential for contract extention or permanent hire )
Schedule: 4 days/week — 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

We are growing fast and are looking for a reliable, creative, and technically skilled content creator to join our production team.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Social Media Manager & Content Creator who can film, edit, and publish content across our platforms while supporting the production of The Rebuild.

This role is ideal for a creator with strong storytelling instincts and hands-on shooting/editing experience who wants to be part of something meaningful, fast-paced, and community-focused.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Production

• Film behind-the-scenes content, family interviews, b-roll, and episodic moments
• Capture high-quality footage using your own camera gear
• (Preferred) Fly a drone for on-site aerial footage
• Edit videos for social, YouTube, IG Reels, TikTok, Facebook, etc.
• Shoot b-roll for episodes and social promos
• Support episode release rollout (trailers, clips, teasers)
• Content Creation for multiple projects

Social Media Management

• Manage posting schedule across multiple platforms
• Write captions, tags, and high-engagement hooks
• Maintain consistent brand look, tone, and quality
• Drive audience engagement (comments, responses, messaging)
• Track content performance and report weekly insights
• Collaborate with leadership on strategy & content ideas

On-Site Workflow & Support

• Attend filming days as needed
• Document interactions and key moments during rebuild projects
• Maintain an organized asset library (video, photos, raw files)
• Assist with production tasks when needed
• Create engaging and viral level content, owning the entire life cycle

Required Qualifications

• Strong filming experience with your own camera (mirrorless or cinema-style preferred)
• Video editing proficiency (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, etc.)
• Proven experience in content creation or social media growth
• Strong storytelling ability (you understand pacing, framing, emotion)
• High reliability & consistency ... This is a steady, weekly in-person/field role
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills

Preferred but NOT required

• Drone flying experience (Part 107 certification a plus)
• Experience filming docu-style or reality content
• Photography experience
• Audio recording knowledge
• Familiarity with YouTube content strategy
• Experience managing multiple social pages

Contract Details

• $4,000 monthly
• 12-month contract with opportunity for full-time empoyment or extention
• Must be available 4 days/week, 9 AM – 5 PM
• Mileage reimbursements when traveling to film sites
• All footage produced is property of Ember Red Studios
