ARA Integrative & Functional Medicine is a concierge functional and integrative medicine practice focused on root-cause healthcare, longevity, hormone optimization, and metabolic health. We specialize in helping patients achieve optimal wellness through personalized, science-based care.

We are seeking a creative, health-savvy Social Media Content Creator to develop engaging educational content for our growing practice across multiple platforms.

This role will support two medical providers by transforming clinical knowledge into compelling digital content that educates and inspires our audience.

Responsibilities

Create and manage content across:

• Instagram
• Facebook
• LinkedIn
• YouTube

Key responsibilities include:

• Film and edit short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, educational clips)
• Create engaging graphics, captions, and posts
• Transform physician insights into patient-friendly educational content
• Develop weekly and monthly content calendars
• Edit and optimize YouTube educational videos
• Assist with script writing and topic planning
• Capture and edit in-office footage when needed
• Design infographics and educational slides
• Schedule posts using social media management tools
• Track engagement metrics and optimize performance
• Stay current on health, wellness, and social media trends

Content will focus on areas such as:

• Hormone optimization (men and women)
• Cardiovascular and metabolic health
• Gut health and microbiome optimization
• Longevity and preventative medicine
• Functional medicine lab testing
• Nutrition and lifestyle medicine
• Weight management and metabolic flexibility

Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

• Experience managing health, wellness, or medical social media accounts
• Strong video editing skills (Reels, TikTok-style content, YouTube editing)
• Experience with tools such as:
• Canva
• CapCut / Final Cut / Premiere
• Instagram and YouTube editing tools
• Understanding of healthcare or functional medicine topics preferred
• Strong writing and storytelling skills
• Ability to translate complex medical topics into simple educational content
• Organized and reliable with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working directly with physicians

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Background in nutrition, wellness, or healthcare
• SEO and YouTube optimization
• Photography and lighting setup
• Podcast editing
• Email marketing or newsletter content

Position Details

Flexible structure depending on candidate:

• Part-time
• Freelance / contractor
• Hybrid or remote with occasional in-office filming

Expected workload:
10 hours per week initially

Compensation

Based on experience.

Typical range:
$25 – $35 per hour

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
