We are seeking a versatile and experienced Content Writer & Social Media Manager to join our agency. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience and a dual passion for creating exceptional, top-notch content and building thriving online communities.
In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive content strategies, writing professional copy for websites, blogs, and social media, while simultaneously managing and optimizing all our client and internal social channels to drive engagement and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy & Creation:
- Develop and execute monthly and quarterly content strategies and calendars.
- Write, edit, and proofread high-quality, professional content for various platforms, including website copy, blog posts, articles, social media captions, ad copy, and email newsletters.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style and tone, and optimized for search (SEO) and user experience.
- Social Media Management:
- Manage and maintain all social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) for our clients and our agency.
- Plan, schedule, and publish daily content that aligns with the content strategy and drives engagement.
- Optimize social media profiles and content for maximum visibility and growth.
- Community Management:
- Actively monitor social channels for comments, messages, and mentions.
- Engage with the online community in a timely, professional, and authentic manner, building relationships and fostering brand loyalty.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance and content metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to make recommendations and continuously improve strategies.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with the design and marketing teams to ensure content is visually appealing and campaign objectives are met.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in content writing and social media management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: 3-4 years of proven work experience as a Content Writer, Social Media Manager, or a similar combined role.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio is required, showcasing exceptional writing skills (website copy, blogs, and a variety of social media posts).
- Writing Skills: Impeccable command of the English language, with outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading abilities. Ability to adapt writing style to different tones and brands.
- Social Media Expertise: In-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for optimization and engagement.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.). Basic understanding of SEO principles is essential.
