Social Media Manager (Content Creator – Filming, Editing & Posting)

We are a fast-growing moving & storage / home services company focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience. We’re looking for a creative and driven Social Media Manager who can capture our story, showcase our work, and help us grow our online presence.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on role for someone who can film, edit, and post content consistently across social platforms. You’ll be responsible for bringing our brand to life through engaging video content and managing day-to-day social media activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Film day-to-day operations, job sites, team content, and customer interactions
• Edit short-form and long-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube, etc.)
• Create and manage content calendars
• Post consistently across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube)
• Write captions, hashtags, and optimize posts for engagement
• Monitor comments/messages and engage with followers
• Track performance and adjust strategy based on analytics
• Collaborate with leadership on marketing ideas and campaigns

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media management and content creation
• Strong video filming and editing skills (iPhone or camera + editing software)
• Experience with tools like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar
• Understanding of current social media trends and algorithms
• Ability to work independently and bring creative ideas to the table
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Experience in home services, moving, or construction industries
• Paid ads experience (Meta, TikTok, etc.)
• Basic graphic design skills
