Role Description

This is a full-time remote Social Media Manager Trainee role (Unpaid Internship) at Smart Technology Solutions (SmartSol). The trainee will assist in managing and growing the company’s online presence across multiple social media platforms while gaining hands-on experience in social media marketing, content planning, and digital branding.

This role is ideal for individuals who are creative, eager to learn, and interested in building a professional career in Digital Marketing and Social Media Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing company social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Create, schedule, and publish social media posts according to content plans
• Write engaging captions and marketing-focused content
• Research industry trends, competitors, and relevant hashtags
• Support in planning branding and awareness campaigns
• Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement
• Assist in analyzing post performance and preparing basic reports
• Collaborate with designers and marketing team for content creation
• Maintain consistency in brand voice and visual identity

Qualifications

• Strong communication and writing skills
• Basic understanding or strong interest in social media marketing
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Familiarity with social media platforms and trends
• Basic knowledge of Canva or similar tools (preferred but not mandatory)
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Willingness to learn and accept feedback positively
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Marketing, Media, Business, or related field is preferred
