REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing

JOB STATUS: Full Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly)

SALARY GRADE: 4

SALARY RANGE: $24.09-$36.15

POSITION SUMMARY

The Social Media and Marketing Associate provides day-to-day support for the company’s marketing efforts across many digital channels. The primary focus of this role is to manage and support social media presence, creating content, maintaining posting schedules, and engaging with followers across all social platforms. The role will also support broader marketing efforts including website content changes, managing media needs, online reviews, and lead-related tasks for communities across the portfolio. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, creative, and eager to grow within a fast-paced multifamily marketing environment.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with internal teams to develop and manage social media campaigns, website content, digital promotions, and community marketing initiatives.
  • Assists with social media posting and digital content updates across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and other relevant platforms.
  • Creates, schedules, and publishes content that is timely, accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Tracks campaign performance, social engagement, lead activity and other key marketing metrics.
  • Ensures all marketing efforts reflect company standards, support operational priorities, and comply with Fair Housing guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Assists in maintaining accurate marketing information across websites, social media platforms, ILS listings, and other digital channels.
  • Assists with the execution of marketing initiatives that support traffic, leasing activity, and brand visibility.
  • Updates and reviews apartment listings to ensure pricing, availability, photos, and community information are current and accurate.
  • Monitors online reviews and help coordinate responses in a timely manner.
  • Supports lead management and marketing workflows within the AppFolio CRM platform
  • Coordinates community newsletters, special events, promotions, photo shoots, video shoots, and 3D tour scheduling.
  • Assists with compiling basic reporting on social media activity, listing performance, and lead sources.
  • Follows company brand standards, Fair Housing guidelines, and established marketing processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree in marketing preferred.
  • Minimum two years of marketing, communications, social media, customer service, or related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of business social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong written and verbal communications and proofreading skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 365, SharePoint) and Google Docs.
  • Valid, clean drivers’ license required.

The position requires occasional travel between properties. Requires occasional to frequent standing and walking and prolonged sitting. The position also requires the frequent ability to use hands, talk and hear and occasionally bend, squat, crawl, climb, and reach. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs.

Work is primarily performed indoors. The position requires the ability to move between indoor and outdoor environments.

Pay: $24.09 - $36.15 per hour
